You can permanently delete your Genesyx account and all of the data associated with it at any time. We know the information you record in Genesyx is personal, so deletion is complete, immediate, and entirely in your control.
Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your logs, pH readings and settings cannot be recovered. If you might return, you can simply stop using the app instead — your data stays private to your account either way.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the Genesyx app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address linked to your Genesyx account:

Subject: Account deletion request
Body: the email address of the Genesyx account you want deleted.
We verify the request came from the account's email address, then delete the account. Requests are completed within 30 days, and typically much sooner. We will confirm by email once it is done.
What gets deleted

No data is retained after deletion, other than residual copies in encrypted backups, which expire on our hosting provider's standard rotation and are never used for any other purpose.
